She brings in alot more money in tourism than she costs us.
Edit: Also I can handle 66p. And as lame as most people see her, I kinda like having a history and some sort of culture unlike some other countries.

You say britian has more of a history than the U.S. but see for a lot of us in the states British history IS our history. Also The native Americans have history here in America the downpoint of wich was English immigrants coming over and killing raping pillaging and burning (eats babys)

The northern rock disaster cost each person in the UK £900, I'd sooner pay for the Royal Family than some stupid bank. Besides, the queen costs us much less than we rake in.
