final cut pro hd 4.5 (outdated) but it does the job for us at the moment

Why don't you just update to CS3 Mono? It's basically the same as 6.5 but it has more features that are simple to learn. Some include, color correction, multi-camera editing to cut down on editing time, among other things. I have it and it is a lifesaver for editing.

I still just use Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0.
Its really simple. I havent had a chance to use the CS3 though. I'd like to.

There are loads of versions on Rapidshare. I'd suggest getting it.

It all depends on the difficulty or complicated-ness of what you wanna edit.
Right now I'm liking Ulead for general things. Although, I think Justin uses Final Cut Pro.
