Why would they do this?!
11 June 2008, 21:50 UTC#3
The only good thing I can say is that at least it's not done by the original director.
But why they even allowed it to go into production will remain a mystery.
11 June 2008, 21:52 UTC#4
Yeah I'm surprised they let it happen aswell. Such a fucking awesome film. Like you said though, glad its not the original director.
With abit of luck everyone involved will pull a Heath Ledger and the film wont ever get made.
11 June 2008, 21:54 UTC#5
fucking sequils.

11 June 2008, 22:18 UTC#9
Why!
I loved the first film, everyone seems to have a different take on it as well which always makes it a good film to talk about.
this just sounds rubbish.
Its Butterfly Effect all over again.. I really liked the 1st one and they tried to make the same sorta film again and it just failed.
11 June 2008, 22:40 UTC#10
The ONE fucking film I felt certain could never have a sequel.

S. Darko takes place in 1995, seven years after the original film. It follows Donnie Darko's younger sister, Samantha, who, in the wake of his death, has found herself at age 17 with a broken family, mired in feelings of insignificance. When she and her best friend Corey are plagued by bizarre visions, they set off on a road trip to Los Angeles, following Frank the Rabbit's ghost. They arrive at a small town in the midst of a meteorite crash and begin to see the future
It sounds like a retarded fan fiction.

The first movie was so epic. This just makes it lose some of its greatness.

True that... the "story" is laughable at best. Hollywood eats balls.

The first one to me is a damn cult classic. So why the hell would you make a number 2. I just don't understand. How the fuck do you make a number 2 to this damn movie?
