My Review On The New Offspring Cd

welp, for starters, I saw some videos of them in studio, and I thought that shit was gonna be soo sick
today when I recieved an e-mail where I could buy the CD on amazon for 8 bucks, all 12 tracks, I was like
"aww man, im soo buyin it" till I sampled everything.. the first few tracks were sweet, and I already
previously heard Hammerhead.. I can actually say, theres only about 3 songs that are good outta the 12
the 3 songs are

I watched what noodles had to say about the album, he said "prob the darkest album they put out"
yeeeah right, Ixnay on The Hombre was much darker.. have they forgotten there roots? or just sold out
I mean, yeah peopel got bills to pay and prob have familes to take care of. maybe that would explain
the bubble gum pop rock songs they have, but at the same time in there pop songs, they keep it real.
behind there sugar coat, there keepin the message plain and simple and stickin it to there faces.
almost like sarcasm, I guess. I am still dissapointed though, id wanna hear the good stuff
kinda aftraid of seein them this year.. im looking forward to pushing and shuving people in the pit
but I dont wanna be the only one going nuts, prob gonna be a whole bunch of homo kids saying sorry

I've hated offspring since splinter. smash was the best album by them and I wish they sounded like that still.

I still love their old stuff a lot and to defend their newer stuff a little, even though most of it rubbish, some songs aren't half bad. Anyway I remember Smash and Green Day's Dookie being my two absolute favorite albums back in the first years of elementary school, those were the days.. like Adem said I also wish they still sounded like that

yeah, dookie is my all time fave green day cd. man, if only they stayed at that level. but yeah, the americana cd wasn't half bad either. the kids aren't alright was a great song I thought. but pretty much the only song I liked on there. walla walla was decent.

hammerhead is being so over played, and I just don't like it much. the chorus and vocals remind me of the old offspring, but the vibe is gone =[

And, Americana and the Beastie Boys' License To Ill were the first two albums I ever bought with my own money. In like, 5th grade. I know every word to every song on each album.

Americana was seriously the only thing I listened to until the 8th grade, when I found Metallica's Master of Puppets.

So glad I grew the F up.

it was cool to look at now, but that kinda made me cringe as a kid

I was around 9-10 years old.... That, to me, is a little kid.

Blargh, Aspergers is a mental illness that causes the person to be very antisocial because they cannot develop social skills.

This kid was just really weird and tended to put people in a choke hold if they mistook his Nintendo DS for a PSP.
