Doritos Advert

Hey guys.

Im currently editing a Doritos advert for a competition and have to have it done by tomorrow.

I really need the end graphic made. It isnt desperately difficult, but with my lack of PS knowledge I was wondering if any of you would give it a go.

Now I'm editing this trailer for free, but if it wins the competition, I will get some of the winning money, and therefore if any of you make the graphic I need and it wins, then I will make sure you also get some money too. Probably only £20-£30 but Ill see how far I can stretch the director.

Also obviously if it won it would be great on a c.v. as I think they are going to air the winning ad.

What I basically need is the following slogan:

“Doritos don’t take the flavours personally!”

Now I'm thinking the best bet would be having the doritos logo at the top and 'don't take the flavours personally' underneath. and around the whole thing have a pink thick outline maybe with little hearts? or dorito chips?

It would be great if a heart was somewhere incorporated in it.

And the background must be transparent.

If anyone could give it ago it would be hugely appreciated. But time is short.

I only said that because I wouldnt want to promise an amount and then the situation occurs where the advert wins and I cant get the money. The fact is I dont know this director/producer from adam, but I met up with him agreed to edit the video. Now I dont even have a contract in place securing me a percentage on the winning amount. I have no idea how much I would get if it won. I would like to hope a few hundred quid, but theres still nothing stoping him from just not paying me anything. Hence why I said £20-£30 because if the add won I'd be happy to pay whoever did make it out of the money I would get anyway. But like I said before. If it won I'd try to get as much as possible from the director for whoever makes the graphic. It could be £100? it could be more, I just dont want to pull a moody and make empty promises.

But the odd's are this wont win, but I just need a favour and hope someone might spend half an hour of their time to help me out, as favours are usually returned in way or the other.

Plus it might win.

Just spoke to the director, and he agreed that if the video wins then he will give £100 out of the prize money to whoever comes up with the graphic. SO for half an hour work that could be a pretty good deal.

Also I've just had a look at the competition and most of the videos are crap. I think this stands a pretty good chance of winning.

I have to have this sent to the director and to the sound designers by tonight. SO if anyone can come up with something today that would be awesome.

Is there a better font you could use? A font that doesnt look like a normal font off any computer? or one you could jazz upp abit so its looks more three dimensional?

any perticular colour?

The colours your using are fine.

Infact if you made the colours gradially change. If you could do something similar to your vokab logo?

do u want a curvyish font.. or a bold font..?????

It can be curvy but it must be readable. literally look at your vokab logo for quidlines. literally just rip it off. give the writing a black outline and make the colour pink and purple etc.

I prefer the 2nd from bottom

I like this one. Can you make the writing bigger, and give it a black outline with pink and purple grade inside rather than outside. Also is the anything you can do to the dorito heart to make it better?

I also like the one second from the bottom, if it had a slightly thicker black outline.

I like the top one of these two, Zaid. The font works a lot better with the Doritos font.

I do like that. But theres just something bugging me about it.

COuld you make the heart abit smaller and put a black outline around the pink outlie, but not too thick.

Is there anyway of making the font bigger, without making it any wider?
