Good Film To End With?

I was reading an artical about him being the joker and read he had also finished or at least his part was finished in another film "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus".. and thought
what would he rather go out on?

last film as a insane psycho killer.. or as a nicer character, which he might not even get as the film might be scrapped altogeher.

just wanted to see what u guys thought..

I would have preferred him going out with a reprise of his role from A Knight's Tale.

I think that his role as the joker is going to be memorable enough for it to be the perfect movie for him to be remembered by. Remains to be seen but it seems as if he completely reinvented one of the most famous movie villains in the history of cinema

Apparently producers have been saying that if you watch Dark Knight in the wake of his death, some of the things the Joker says and does come across as really creepy; like almost foreshadowing it.

Obviously they wouldn't be more specific but I guess we'll see how it pans out. Still can't fucking wait to see it. Looks epic.

I read that too. I thought it was just bullshit they were saying to get people to watch it (like this movie wouldn't get a huge turnout anyway) as though Heath Ledger had a major part of writing the script.

That's definitely one way of looking at it. I dunno, I guess I'll see if it makes me shit bricks.

I'm really looking forward to the movie. It looks like it's going to be a lot darker (no pun intended) than the other titles, and that's definitely a great way to go with the tone. I really love how purely sadistic Heath Ledger has made the Joker to at least appear from what I've seen.

I just hope Christian Bale tries to do more with Bruce Wayne's character than a simple archetypal hero. There's a lot of room to develop the character and I hope he looks for a different route than every other super hero movie has gone.

I watched Tim Burton's Batman with my girlfriend since Begins was the only one she had seen. She didn't like it because it was "too dark", which I obviously argued was exactly the point.

I prefer the original movie not just because they got the tone right, but because they shied away from Batman as an invincible hero and took him right back to his comic origins as a detective: figuring out the Joker's chemical formula, spending ages researching and so on. Batman is a tough subject to nail since he's changed back and forth so much since his conception; whereas other well-known characters like Superman and Spider-Man have retained the same basic framework throughout.

I totally agree with liam.. some films have turned batman into a joke while others have got it perfect.. the orginal "Batman" with Jack as Joker is my fav so far.. but I must say this one looks top and both leads are amazing in there own right.

At least my kids will grow up knowing what year Frank Miller first wrote for Batman. That'll make them popular at school.

Batman is the crappest superhero ever. He doesn't have any powers, he just dresses up like a bat.

id say batman great film for him to end on, cuz of all his other roles are good or being gay, and surely its good to see what its like being bad...

I heard a lot of people saying that there's a part that people are trying to cut out. Supposedly somewhere in the movie The Joker is said to be in a body bag and people are saying that it should be taken out for poor taste. I think that's bull because if it was crucial to the movie or something I think Heath would have wanted it in. And not to mention it was filmed before hand. I dunno.

But on a lighter note, a friend of mine (Third from the left in my sig, lol.) just got a job at a local movie theater and he gets 4 free passes EVERY DAY to whatever movies he decides. He's gonna be hooking us up so much it's not even funny.
