surprsingly the macbook renders fast, and I am intouch with almost every option so I feel right at home on it already.

I had a mac g4,it rendered slow as hell,every clip to

what size is your hard drive

80 gb, I will upgrade it late ron this year, but I also have 250gb and 120gb external drives.

cause I had a 40 gig hardive and an 80 gig external or something like that

I dont think it should matter that much what size the hard drive it is I just think its out dated.

Pretty good stuff. A little over-edited. Kind of excessive. Funny clip though, definitely had me laughing.

It depends. The size of the hard drive does not matter unless it's full. Once you fill it up, than it'll go slow as hell.

Also, if you are using a usb external (def 1.1, maybe not 2.0) as your scratch render disk, than you may get a slowdown too.

If your hdd was not full, than it was most likely you didn't have enough ram (Finalcut needs a hell of a lot).

yeah im thinking it was probaly the ram,which I didnt have alot of that either

anyways fuck final cut ,its all about premiere pro :biggrin:
