I have a Sony Hc7.
I Have just bought a new pc with no Ieee ports, just Dvi-D ports.
So I bought a Hdmi to Dvi-D cable...

Anyoner got any ideas that can help me?

The HDMI port on your PC should be output only, not input.
Get a fucking Ieee card, they are cheap as fuck now a days.

no.
Ieee can stream HD, you just need a program that supports HD streaming.

alot of adobes do, try googling it, I know ive read it somewhere, but I got to go jOFF, and if u think that means what I think you think it means, you are way off

Premiere CS3 supports HD now, loads of video editing programs are getting in on it. When you open a new project you can specify between SD and HDV.

you only capture with firewire, buy a pci card and call it a day.

New version of Vegas does some PRIME HD capture via FireWire, check it son, you got no other choices

If you need something cheap and quick, the new versions of Pinnacle (11 or 12) support it at well (not sure if the the base version does, but I know ultimate does).
And no, I don't use the shit, I just sell it at work all day so I know.
