Show me where I said apply...oh I didn't. The lawyers are to insure that our asses are covered under any circumstance there smart guy. All you do for a copy right is buy it, but unless you know the in's and out's of law, you may forget something.

The second you create something it's copyrighted.
Unless you have a product that is original you have no need to patent it.
And in terms of insurance, you might need liablilty, and possibly employees insurance, but none of that really matters unless your registered as a company. And even if you are registered, unless you started making some serious cash and expanding you still dont even need that for the nature of your buisiness.
The only thing I'd do if I was you is check companies house, to see if your company name is available, and register it. ALthough again dont bother untill you start making some half decent amount of money, because it will cost you quite abit just to set it up, and you have to deal with accounts and other costs that you incur etc.

Thanks for the POSITIVE post. Sorry just had my feathers ruffled so to say. This shit is stressful. It really is picking up fast, we are already had bands (5) come to us wanting to print shirts. We've been at it balls out for only 2 weeks and our fan/client base has gone from 0 to about 40 people waiting for shit to be printed. So yeah it's got my head in a twirl and I come here for suggestions and advice (even though I should know damn well how everyone is now a days) and get blown down or my thread spammed.
So thank you for that, it will be relayed amongst the group.

I know what its like. Ive got some company trying to sue me at the moment because they conned me when I first set up my company into advertising on their crappy site.
Which is pretty gay, cos I dont have the cash flow to pay them, which I'd happily do just to make them piss off! lol
