Day 1, Thursday, March 20th:
Myself, Wesley, and Drew, wake up at around 8:30am, get dressed, load up my vehicle, and depart Newport, Arkansas at 9:30am. we journey up the east missouri border, through a very empty Iowa, and a tiny taste of Minnesota highways, documenting our trip along the way. the drive up consisted of partial male nudity, gas station bathroom vandalism, verbal assault, and barely avoiding inclement weather. we arrive in Rochester, Minnesota at 9:45pm, at the apartment of Collin 'Beans' Holton, he along with Mike Roble, Jerome 'Tweet' Fischer, and more friends welcomed us and warmed up to us immediately. we consume a lot of Captain Morgan spiced rum and a few beers each. the night ended with the arsemarks crew being destructively drunk by wrestling in the mud and snow, discovered talents of eating aluminum cans, fights inside the living room, and capturing it all on camera. But something was missing. Rico Roman missed out on the first night of fun because of work, but his time would come.
Day 2, Friday, March 21st:
Everyone wakes up, some with hangovers, a few without; to look out the window and sees 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground.. we discuss and decide how we carry out our second day in the land of Arsemarks, then we act upon our plans. Me, Drew, and Wesley make our way to the birthplace of Arsemarks: Ellsworth Wisconsin. We get to meet Rico Roman which was a treat for both of us. we hang out, chat for a while, discuss stunt ideas, film a couple snow jumps (for no other reason than snow doesnt happen that often in arkansas, so we thought we would try it out) then make plans to party that night. We hop into a minivan with Jerome Fischer, Derek Schell, Rico, with the BLL crew mentioned above headed to Zach 'Vengance' Morth's house about 45 minutes away. as soon as we get out of the city limits of Ellsworth, the van breaks down with a faulty alternator. we quickly hide the case of beer and the bottle of vodka in the snow so that if the police stop to help out the defunct van, they wont arrest all of us for underage possession of alcohol. with no battery power whatsoever to start the van, we wait in the cold for about an hour until some good citizens
help us out by giving rico a ride back to his house so we can take his car, and Derek's truck to the party since our first and more convenient option broke down. finally we get to the party, we meet Zach Morth, Luke Peterson, and Brad (the short/asian looking guy that is always shit faced drunk in the Arsemarks dvd's {he was already to the point he couldnt stand upright by the time of our arrival}). we casually consume a few beers, then we decide to up the ante. shots of vodka and jagermeister work their way around, then the beer funnel makes an appearance. Everyone learns that Drew was a beer funnel virgin, so he steps up to the plate and takes his first like a champ. Drew decides that he loves to open up his throat to a tube forcing liquid down his throat, and takes two more right after his first. The beer funnel makes its way around to most of the people at the party, then the alcohol takes effect. Wesley is the first to act on his newfound bravery, and amazes the Arsemarks crew by performing a stunt originally thought up of by Al of FREAK.INC and given the blessing for us to perform. The stunt: Two clothespins, one through each nostril, connected by a rubber band, holding a cell phone to pull back and release onto a lightbulb taped to Wesley's forehead. Intricate right? After the shock wears off, drew becomes brave enough to jump from a second story balcony onto a garbage bin. sounds boring but the footage looks great for such a simple idea. Out of nowhere, Derek breaks yet another light tube, then begins to eat it. Expressionless, he gets his fill, and what is left from his glass meal, I decide to head butt the leftovers. Derek didn’t think I was doing it right so he helped me out by slamming my head on the table for me. More alcohol is guzzled, then the night ends with tons of party footage and a couple stunts filmed.
Day 3, Saturday, March 22nd:
We rise from our drunken stupor from the night before at Zach’s house, discuss how fun and crazy the night was, then head back to Ellsworth to get more of the AM crew together to film a stunt or two at Rico’s home. After Rico discovers how shady most of his crew is, Derek and Zach show up to get some stunts on tape. The stunting begins with myself jumping onto the back of Zach, sandwiching a light tube between his naked back and my bare feet. Then after attempting to come up with something else and failing, drew recalls an idea he had a long time ago of… wait, you will have to get the DVD to see the stunt in action. The stunt doesn’t go right, and there weren’t many ways that It could have gone right.
After that stunt, we decide to stop stunting for the day, and go grab a bite to eat. The crew comes back to gather their things to prepare for the trip back. We say our goodbyes, shed our tears, and depart from the cold and bitter Wisconsin weather to warmer conditions in Arkansas. The trip home sucked as it snowed off and on (mostly on) for the majority of the trip. But Wes and Drew got to sleep while I was hopped up on ephedrine tablets to keep me awake during the all-nighter of a trip. We ended up back home in Arkansas at about 11am.
The DVD will be out April 18th of this year. I believe the footage from this weekend alone is worth the cost you will pay for the DVD. Stay tuned for a DVD update with teasers, and party footage. I know I had a lot of fun, and if I could afford the gas and the time to drive up there every weekend to hang out with these guys, I would in a heartbeat.
