Special Effects

Hey guys, long time no see or real conversation.
I'm just looking for a little c&c.

As a hobby, I'm teaching myself special effects.
People have been telling me they don't understand why I plan on going into Criminal Justice if I'm learning this stuff. I dunno, maybe I'll switch majors.

In any case, last year I started messing around with effects. I started in Sony Vegas but then learned about Adobe After Effects. Problem is, I only had a trial of AE so for a few months I couldn't do any effects.

These are listed from oldest video to newest, they get progressively better in skill and quality. I was teaching myself everything, so I started out pretty bad. Almost all of them are based on Heroes abilities, some fan powers, and a joke power. The second to last one is based on Resident Evil, while the last one I just did last night has no relation to anything.

who are you again?

I watched some, they weren't exactly hard to do...just fading two shots together and stuff.

Some of them are more simple effects. Other ones took alot more effort. The one I did last night would normally just be an "Overlap and fade", but I had to mask the person specifically or else the whole screen would have been bright and glowing.

I'm a member from a long time ago.
