Im thinking of getting a Sony : vx1000, vx2000, pd150 or a pdx10 ! (if I ever get the money)
anyone who has one of these tell me what you think !!! or if you know how good the camera is !

I've got a vx2000 and it's good, but don't start off with one unless you plan on making money off of your films.

I have a PD170, and when compared to the PD150, the PD170 has better low light filming and better audio. How much would you buy the PD150 for?

well I prob wont be making any money anytime soon!
I just need a good camera for going to uni next year!
I know the vx2000 is expensive but I heard the vx1000 is actually better and cheaper, and that the pd150 is broadcast quality, great for sports and and quite cheap!
anybody else heard this ?

its good for filmin skating, alot of ppl use it for that, but no the 2100 over the 2000 and the 2000 over the 1000

Well I dont know.
I have a vx2100, and for a job once I used something that looked just like a vx but I think it had xlr inputs? anyway although I hated the zoom and focus on it, it was sweet that it had XLR, or atleast I think it did. If that was a vx200 then sweet.

vx2100 - best consumer cam out there (next to the panasonic dvx100)
vx2000 - good for night shot, kinda heavy
vx1000 - good for day time, nights kinda grainy (I own this)

I own the 2000, and it is good for night shots, not that godo tho, and its not heavy at all

Personally I always regretted buying my vx.
Dont get me wrong. Its a great camera, and you can produce some nice picture. But at the time, I had enough money to buy either z1 or vx with wideangle and batter etc.
Should have chosen Z1. I would say its always worth waiting, being patient and spending that extra bit. You can hrie yourself out with a Z1, not with a VX.
But I still love my VX.
Not as much as I love my XL-H1 ofcourse.

I couldnt find it but I looked up some vids on youtube and it looks pretty good.
I heard that the ribbon or somthing goes on it really easy and is a pain to replace! but quality looks really good

well I;d get it if your planin on shootin a project for a year or so
but if your planin on hardcore filming for a long time, get a vx.. sounds about right
