Because the brands essence was that Hunter has strong links to the countryside and a strong British heritage...
Some of the video depicting things like dog walking etc because they are synonymous with the British country side, the video had to depict Hunter consumers lifestyle and the original use for boots like Hunter ones were first used for fox hunting (and u need doggies for that)
also it portrays the brands active spirit

Haha the dogs rocked. Dunno if it really came through that it was supposed to advertise the boots though. But then again I'm not familiar with the brand so maybe it's a British(?) thing to figure that out automatically. Like aaah have a butchers therr advertoising the Hunter boots aant they

wellll... often when new brands come out they do show the product but often they also show just the mood of the brand and the lifestyle of the consumers that buy it
also think of perfume adds they usually just show women running around and stuff and they only show the perfume right at the end for a split second
research shows that people get bored and are less suseptable to blatent advertising so its best to create a buzz around the product
