Does anyone know how I can transfer music from a USB storage device over to my 360?
Sorry if it's really basic and obvious

Never tried but I assume its the same as a CD? Just go to the music/video/picture bar of the dashboard and then select hte usb thingy in the music bit and burn to hard drive? Thats if it lets ya get shit off of usb, I tired it with video and I don't think it worked.

when you go to transfer the music at the dashboard for it, you may need to install an update to run the music on your xbox. if you do it will tell you what kind and you can either go on xbox live to download it or go to xbox.com and copy the update to a cd and run it on your 360.

If I were to try this, would I need a wireless network adaptor for the xbox as well as for my computer? Or does it have to be through a wire?

I think thts wht I do and I have a wireless adapter, streaming music is the best way...saves space on the hard drive.

I'll probably do that then. The adaptor lets you connect to live as well doesn't it?
