American Rebels (a New Group)

Hello everyone, I am new here and I would like to tell you guys about the new "jackass" group of mine that's called American Rebels.

Background:
It all started when a couple of friends of mine and I went out on a boring sunday afternoon and did some stunts (consisting of little things such as a slap contest, etc.). That was a year and a half ago. I looked back on the footage and was just dissapointed at the time. It seems so childish and it just blended in the "Look At Us Kids Doing Stupid Stunts and Calling It Jackass" crowd on YouTube. So I went out and started a self promoted DVD (such as what Steve-O does) with just me doing stunts. At one party I agreed to go up in front of a crowd and performed stunts such as

-The Puzzle: I ripped a piece of paper into tiny little pieces with a picture on it and had one person come up and and figure out the puzzle while stapling the complete picture on my back.
- The Lemon Squirt: I made a contest where I would have to squirt as many lemons in my eyes before time ran out (1 minute).

But a crowd of people dismissed me saying that my stunts weren't real and I wasn't really hurting myself (I didn't really show any pain in my stunts because I couldn't really feel any). That struck me as a giant slap in the face. So I rounded up some friends (one who was with me in my first group, 4 total) and I'm setting out to do this movie, and to prove to everyone that this is real and that this will not be "just another YouTube group". We are going big, we are going strong. We are American Rebels!

Upcoming Events:
Next summer as soon as school lets out, we will begin filming the movie. In September, the first American Rebels movie will be released. After that, we will start filming episodes for a show on the web. As soon as all THREE seasons are done, we will film the second American Rebels movie and that will be it for us. So I hope you guys have some support for us, we won't dissapoint I promise.

Ok, let me tackle this one problem at a time.

First off, it has no footage because quite frankly (as the title implies) it is a TEASER trailer. Also we have no footage at this time to show however this christmas as our gift to you people, we will film a 15 minute episode promoting the upcoming movie which will feature stunts that are original and not borrowed from the actual movie.

Second, it has that, and I admit, crappy feel because I made it using MovieMaker.

It bums me to see your reactions to this but it is reality and you guys have my word that I will take this crap and mold it into something really gnarly. Keep the criticism going, I don't mind, it actually helps me out. You guys won't regret this, I promise.

Yeah dude. I'm gonna be as honest as possible. Go film something. Put it up here. We will then decide. All this arguing now will just lead to people caring less about you when you finally do release something.

Thanks Alex, yeah I guess you're right. Well here's some stunts that are going to take place in our run (not just from the movie).

- The Puzzle: I will do it again for you guys, but this time the puzzle will strech all around my body.
- The Parrot Chomp: One of my friends has a parrot and I will get it to bite on someone's nose.
- The Insane Game Show: I will make a wheel with several stunts listed on it and whoever answers a question correctly does not have to do a stunt, but if you get it wrong then you spin the wheel and whatever stunt it lands on, that person has to perform it.
- The Live Show: American Rebels will perform live for the masses doing amazing stunts onstage alongside death metal band Dead Syndicate.

Give the guy a break. He's just come to our community. He doesn't have a clue what our expectations are or what we classify as what. (Believe it or not, there is no universal definition for a "teaser") Just chill the fuck out and give him a break. He's from a new group and better yet, he seems sincere about our craft, so why give him shit? Also, he isn't babbling incoherent bullshit with horrible grammar sans punctuation.

We need new groups to film and help our community grow, don't scare them away before they even get a chance to show what they can do. I don't see him making wild claims and attacking us without provocation, so why invite it? Thanks.

I understand that this thread may have been a little hasty or ill-conceived, but we don't need to scare him away from our community forever for it.
