I've snowboarded a few times, looking to buy a board, bindings and boots for winter. Don't want to empty the pockets either.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I suggest you go to the store and check your size and everything. Its gonna be fuckin expensive though, so buy used everything, but the boots.

The board should be up to your shoulders.

What is your size dude, I have a couple boards up in my attic. I'm almost positive there too small for you but I'll take a look.

Just do something that's not gay.

Edit - My friend suggests you use this site, he said they're pretty reliable and inexpensive.

I'm 5' 5". I think the board should be around 145cm if I'm not mistake.

Buy a street board, they're snowboards, but are durable enough to be used on concrete without any damage unlike a normal snowboard. We sell them at TKMaxx for £59.99 (shameless plug)
