when I worked as a party host at the local bowling alley, a kid decided to smash two balls together and play chicken with his fingers. his reaction was a bit slow and he ended up smashing his fingers in between and broke it. His mom decided to come up with some cock and bull story that either I or the other hosts gave him a really heavy ball and he dropped it on himself. She sued the bowling alley, me, and the other hosts. well.. tried. There is a small disclaimer that she forgot when she registered the party. Still, I couldn't work for a few weeks and had to give repeated statements to various lawyers and such. Pain in the ass all that was.

That is pretty bullshit, I would've thrown a ball at the mother for that shit.

but one time these kids thuoght it would be fun to bungle my legs then one of them kicked the back of my knees and I feel forword hitting my head of the side of the desk then off the floor and all the customers just stared at me so all I could do was laugh really loud and got told by my shift superviser that I had to go out back and it was my falut, I couldnt stop laughing though.

erm one time I had a briefing with all black people and I said " dont run in the arena as there is blacked out walls and its dark in there" I just got back "yeh we know we are black"

as I have red/pinkish hair I had a kid ask if my hair was real and when I said it was he grabbed my hair and started pulling it, that was fun....stupid kids that place makes you hate them...

When I was working as a trolley collector (seriously I did...how HG is that?) I got really badly sunburnt one day and was peeling all over my face, neck and arms for ages.

Yeah, that was my worst day ever at work lol.

I quit after about 4 weeks because I wasn't getting enough shifts...that and my boss was a Yugoslavian guy who couldn't speak english properly and he was a douchbag.

I got a job in a chinese restaurant and was the only english speaking on there so the my sister (who had the job before me) and I got paid £5-£6 an hour at 6 hours a night, a meal when I arrived and left, snacking throughout the night, a lift home...

Thats my worst exp. I got fired because I put my face in a womans food, but I was finishing that day anyway.

Never really had a horrible experience at work, guess I have been lucky that I never worked a shitty job (trolley collecting, store attendent and so forth).

I was collecting for Target, K-Mart and Bi-Lo. I wasn't actually hired by them though, they contract a company (I think it was called star link or something) to collect for them. It was an alright job...pay was good for the work we were doing and you could take a drink/smoke break whenever you felt like it. Riding around in the trailer was also fun.

And yeah I know, the carts cost heaps for a metal cage on wheels. A few hundred bucks I think.
