Maybe I can just get a plane ticket to FL and meet up with everyone there, since driving to Arkansas would blow dick.

Seconded. A 20 hour car trip just isn't fun at all. No matter how cool the people you're with are. Skybus has CHEAP seats on their flights, I promise you. 8 dollars round-trip from Columbus to Boston. To Florida, I bet I could go Ohio to FLA round-trip for 25 bucks.

Fucking seriously?
Damn, I never knew plane rides could be that cheap, but then again, I've only flown in a plane once and I didn't have to pay for it

That sounds like bullshit but if you could link me to the prices I'd buy a ticket within the week.

There's no way plane tickets can be that cheap!

Just found a flight from Columbus to Ft. Lauderdale on Skybus for 35 dollars.

Sucks though, because the return flight is 75. That's still cheaper than driving and would save me 18 hours of driving, but not as cheap as I'd thought it was.

http://www.skybus.com It's based in Columbus, right by me. They really do have CHEAP ass flights. Just check em' out. The farther in advance that you book a flight, the cheaper it is (duh).

Edit - to fly from Columbus to San Diego, it's 100 bucks one-way. And 120 bucks to come back. So, a 220 dollar round-trip to San Diego. That's not bad at all.

I'd be up for a New York City meet up, since that's a lot closer and would only cost me about $50 max for a train ticket and food.

Well, it looks like New York it is. That city's 50x better than Florida. Plus, I can drive there in 8 hours and fly there for 30 bucks.

Why don't you cum up to NYC too? It's a beautiful city with so much to do. Serial, you guys can go too.

That'd be amazing, but that would probably cost a shitload more than I actually have the money for...
This next semester, I am getting a job..and I plan on saving a bunch of money, so if everything comes out right, I'll consider it...But I'm still wanting to go to Florida too...So hopefully the two trips won't clash together

I'm going to college in New York and just went there for that ABC shit, it's a fucking bad ass place but I want to meet BI while there still filming.

Wish I could have met you Ray.

You aint coming to see me then?

For serial I cant be sure about this, but this is something I´d consider. We get reasonably priced plane tickets to NYC and it would be cool to visit there. But then there is still the question about money and time.

If you actually buy the tickets I'd look into it.

Yeah, once the Finns have their tickets, then I am a guarantee for the NYC trip. But, if they're not cumming, then FLA it is.

Well, it's based in Columbus, which is where all of their planes are. So, in order for you to fly anywhere on Skybus, you have to start there. When those planes make a trip to say LA or Ft. Lauderdale, on their return flights to Columbus, they'll take people back with them. So, whatever flights are offered to you have to be to Columbus because those are all return flights to Columbus from Cali. So, yes, all flights have to go to Columbus first, and then you can go from there to wherever. It'd probably be a little bit of an indirect trip, but it'd still be cheaper than a direct flight with United from LA to Florida. It's great though, so cheap, and plus, you'd be right be me, I could pick you up at the airport. Image file not present in the recovered backup

well whats it costing u to fly to NYC or FL? It tells me anywhere from $75 to $160 for me to fly out to Columbus. What time month is this taking place? cause NYC in winter will suck.
13 October 2007, 02:01 UTC#57
It'd take place in May. The earliest they'll let you book flights is like 6 mos. though, so, I looked at it for March 2008 and it was like 25 bucks from Columbus to NYC.

I am SOO down for the NYC meet-up. Me and probably 5-10 more people. We go to the city on the regular because we live an hour or so train ride away. You could even camp in Central Park if you didn't wanna pay for a hotel. I've slept in that park a few times.
