Question About Arson

About a year ago, me and three of my friends were in some woods near my house. The woods are protected/preserved land. We had a fire lit and were just hanging out, eventually we got bored and put the fire out with a wet, moldy blanket. Long story short, the fire started back up and someone called the cops. They found out it was us (thanks to my dad...) and took us to the police station. They wrote down a bunch of stuff, asking for our information and everything. Then, they gathered us into this room and all of our parents were there and they told us that they were going to let us go with a warning and not charge us but if we ever got caught for anything fire related again, they would add it on to this and charge us with both. My question is, if I got caught for anything fire related, or filmed us around a fire in those same woods, would that actually happen?

Number 3 - If you were under 18 at the time, the charges can't be held against you once you're 18. My brother got charged with arson a few years back, and he supposedly did something a lot worse than that.

Yeah, I'm not going to be doing too much stuff with fire in anymore. I'm not 18 yet, so until then (only like, 1 and a half years left) I won't screw around with that. Thanks for the help.
