I think its a whole new film, with some stunts that couldnt make it to number two and some new ones filmed after it.

they should just make a 3rd movie, put the less enjoible parts in the bonus and all the killer stuff in the film. problem solved. will bring in the big bucks too...and thats what they want right

knoxville made some deal with tremaine that he'd get another couple months straight of filming stunts if they could release #2 at an earlier date. the compromise was made, hense 2.5, it'll have tons of new stuff plus shit that didnt make it into the second. im pretty sure thats the summary. al, did you copyright the name or something, what are you talking about?

We just got some contracts from Jeff and MTV offering us hilarious amounts of money for nearly nothing.

Bruce, Al was joking. He was saying that since him and Josh are such core stuntmen, that they contracted them to come aboard with the Jackass crew and film with them.

The "Jackass" gang is about to attempt its most audacious stunt yet: online movie distribution.

In a radical departure from the traditional movie business model, Paramount Digital Entertainment and MTV New Media are co-producing "Jackass 2.5," a sequel to its two-time boxoffice hit that will skip multiplexes entirely.

Instead, "2.5" will be offered online for free for two weeks beginning Dec. 19 courtesy of Blockbuster, which will exclusively host the 64-minute film during that period. The movie will be made available at blockbuster.jackassworld.com.

From there, the film will move on in ensuing weeks to pay-per-view platforms including iTunes and DVD as part of a light-speed reinvention of the customary distribution-window chain. The domestic release strategy also will be replicated internationally in early 2008, but with different distribution partners.

The movie launch will also be a curtain-raiser for a new Web site, Jackassworld.com, which will establish a permanent online home for the franchise beginning Feb. 9 to continually churn out new content.

You have to register and download some lame video player to watch it, im gonna wait for the dvd release as I don't feel too good bout the player, also for some reason you can only log in to watch it 10 times, then you have to give them another email address....
