Whats homegrown about?
In steve-o´s early years, his pops say that steveo got good, cause he is smart but he can do stupid stuff. I think its about that, to make entertaining vids you have to have good plans, technical knowledge (camangels, editing etc) And so on. ANd stunts arent about hurting oneself, but making things that looks like bitch, but you can get over em. Its like "art of falling" Beutiful example is the jump where I hit my head, it was nothing to me cause I planned carefully how I´m gonna do it mesured the jumping angle and all that shit. Imagined how I can fuck my body up without hurting reeally bad. I say really bad, cause it stiill hurted a bit. But thats also a part of stunts how you can take the pain.
And if ther is people who say "oh you do stunts, you like pain? Ah, so chop your dick off!" I tell them this: I do stunts cause I like the adrenaline rush, the point when you are in the air and think okay there the ground comes, hope I dont die. That the point when you get your life values straight, similar thing to near death experience.
But adrenaline isnt the only point, people who film this shit are visual persons and like to make their visions. Its like art. Planning camera angles and editing. From some thread I know that most of regular poster want to be movie directors or graphic designers, so its about that: creating images.
These are the few ppints I had just now, but if that hgcentral is gonna be ever I think I could wrote proper articel about it.
And rewiev about raynox lens.
I dont know if this knowledge is really classified cause audience dont want to see us as intteligent people. So you can delete this thread if you want to.
