Printers Ands Scanners

I need help. I need to buy a new printer and a new scanner. I don't have a clue what's good and what to stay away from.
I want to get an all-in-one beast? but Inkjet? laser? I'm not sure
I want to spend up to £100

so if you could tell me whats good to have and whats not please
