Anyone Here A Doctor?

I have a sore throat, its pretty red, swollen and kinda like white blotches all over, even on my tounge, thats the best way to desicribe it, I think its strepth throat, but im not sure, prob going to emergy within the next hour but any guesses on what I have

Your most likely right dude, I had this a few years back and it turned out to be strep throat, doc just gave me antibiotics and it went in a few days.

Drinking alot of water helps apparently.

just got back, yeah they have me on penacilion right now and treating it like strep throat. but wont know for sure till tests come back, but what ever, just means more time on hgf Image file not present in the recovered backup

EDIT: I have no clue what im allergic too.. I used to get them just randomly.. like I could think about having a reaction and bam I would get one it was weird but I havnt had it for while

its only strep, you would be well aware if you had mono. you wouldnt feeling like breathing if you had mono. ive had strep about 6 or 7 times and this is what it sounds like to me. just drink mad fluids I went threw 4gallons of gaterade in a weekend when I had it. also eat some ice cream it helps your throught. but its good that you got on the antibiotics, because if you let strep go without getting anything it can turn into scarlett fever which is really bad. youll be set in about a week

mono has the same symptoms as strep if it's not a serious version. I had mono once that was mistaken as step, after a few evaluations I was told it was a weak version of mono. just get it checked man, either way strep can spread to the kidneys and make you very very sick.

yeah im on penicillin right now and there (the doctors) are treatin it like its strep, but I wont know untill the tests come back (by that time it will prob be gone)
