Worst Group Names Ever

Wow, I didn't know Nick made it up...

not alot of groups may remember this group but the longmeadow crusher squirels were one of the worst names I can think of

Arsemarks - This is one of the worst names. I like rico and the group, but horrible name.

Asstreme - what?

Muppets - Very bad.

SOAS Sisters - First of all, are there even any girls in this group? System of a smack doesn't even make sense.

I think that's really it.

like, what kinda name is Bridge of Teribithia as a movie title?

For sure if I could go back I'd change our name, we thought of it when we were 14/15, and has nothing to do with Jackass. We heard the word from bravehart and thought the word "arse" ruled and "marks" is a term for something if your a fan of (used in pro wrestling) and we put them together doods

We're not though. Groups like Arsemarks, Asstreme and Muppets are all bad names but put out good videos.

Anyone remember No Pain No Brain?

Dog-shit awful name and even worse videos, I can remember they released a video of 2 of the (male) members french kissing eachother a few years back. Yes, I'm 100% serious.

Needless to say, it started mammoth flame war threads on ckf and the Pickled Eggs forums and goes down as probably the worst 'stunt' ever concieved in the history of HomeGrown.

I did sign up there, but I hardly posted, I used to just check the new vid releases and stuff back in the day.

I came here because, I think it was Wilbur, or Kuffie, posted a link on the Triple 0 forums.

NBNP actually tried to come back here a year ago or so (could've been two), but they couldn't stand the flaming for more than a few months. I think me and a few others brought up the gay frenchkissing prank they had and everyone pretty much turned against them......again.

I dunno what it is about old HG groups. Even though I've seen the stuff done repeatedly it seems so much better.

I liked White Picket Fence back when I thought it was original... but then I found out that it is the name of a girl band... they are pretty good... I just like to be original

because they got good at commen stunts before the scene went for the original idea era,

I go through short phases of disliking that name, mostly because its a little difficult to say and hate is a "strong word" and the majority of people when they hear it try to make some statement like "how do you hate intelligence? how do you think without it?".... "how do you think this conversation affects me right now? not at all."

in a way I like those goofy youthful names (muppets/arse marks/we play crazy)... you're supposed to be having fun and I'm not a fan of the macho tough guy look. (part of the reason "hate intelligence" is also battling in my head sometimes, it sounds too serious)

I'll get flamed for this but whatever, even though im a fan DanG the whole DanG Core thing like tough guy hardcore throws me off, but its his image so let him rock it, (same goes for pain factor, custom scar, critical affliction) just feel like the point is to have people laughing not scare them/prove you're harder than anyone else, even if that really IS the underlying point, at least present it in an inviting way.

yeah critical affliction is I think the worst name, writing wise and all that its great, but not marketable, sounds too tough, and its way to complicated to throw around amongst people who're gonna watch these type of videos. (theres some stereotyping for you)
