I think all that subconscious stuff about dreams is bollocks. Don't just limit it to pillow, mattress, duvet are also good replacements.

I know how to wake myself up when I'm in a dream aswell, I have always been able to control that. I just close my eyes as tight as I can (I'm aware my eyes are already closed) and I wake right up, it's awesome.
I can do this aswell, I just close my eyes tight and BAM! I an awake.
now I just fuck around in my deams I know there fake so if there is someone chasing me I just rush them and start fighting with them till they kill me with the knife/whatever they are using.

I just had a dream where I was the one that put the foil bottle tops on milk bottles, and Ian kept stabbing them with a screwdriver just before they were going to be sent out, then Vince stood up and yelled at me and said "THATS IT, YOU'RE OUT OF LIFE OF BOREDOM".
I was like PLEASE NO VINCE, I'LL DO ANYTHING. lol.

I have recurring dreams or rather nightmares where I am between rails at a train station, trying to figure out where it is safe to be, avoiding the rails where a train is coming. But it is hard to see, and difficult to move like if I was slowed down. Sometimes this "happens" in the tube, metro.

weird one last night
me and some "friends" were being chased in this barn by a jason mike myers monster mix, then he tells us he just wants to be apart of our family, then we gave him a nutter butter and he calmed down but someone kept punching him in the back of the head and got all pissed off again and tried to kill us
but it was weird fucking all these intense action scenes weree going on while we were runinng,
