26 Trent Avenue Comedy Sketches - New Vid

A directing excercise myself and my mates made for a film school screening. It's mainly lil skits.sketches and we made it all up on the spot as you will probs tell. Does have a lil section of a lil stunt I did previously, and theres a lil fire stunt at the end, that ended resulting in my mate getting second degree burns on his arm cos one of the guys didnt get out the way in time, but its funny.

Unfortunately theres no pics from before he went to hospital and got all the blisters popped.
Anyway probs wont appeal to everyone but give it a watch and let me know what you think.

Editing was sick, I laughed at some of the skits, stunts were nothing original but yeah, cool to see them mixed in.

Good stuff, I'd watch episode two.

I rather enjoyed that.

A couple of the skits I didn't really find very funny, but for most of them, I lol'd.

I thought the stunts seemed slightly out of place though, but they were still entertaining, and props to the guy 'taking one for the team' and getting a nasty burn.

Overall, I'd rate it 3.5 asian skanks out of a possible 5.

cheers guys glad most of you liked it. I am aware the stunts are weak and slightly out of place, I just wanted a couple in cos thats what I like, and these my film skl mates arent into stunts, hence why there wasnt any hardcore stunts in it, there wasnt even meant to be any stunts in first place.

It was good. What other camera besides a VX2100 was used for filming it?

The VX wasnt used to film any of it.

We used a sony Z1. Actually I take that back the pins in head stunt was filmed on the vx and a crappy handheld camera.

we did the exacty same fire stunt the other day and we got nerly the same result but not quite as bad so there was no hosbital visit

Cool, yeh isnt a desperately original stunt but seeing as I wasnt with 'stunty' people to them it was pretty crazy.

I liked that a lot mate, it was really enjoyable to watch.

I laughed at almost every sketch.

Which film school do you go to? Which corse are you doing?
I was supposed to go to London Film Academy a few months ago but didn't have enough money, and wasn't sure which corse to take...

Intro / outro guy sucked, but the skits were pretty good - even the ones copied from TV and web. Nice editing, definitely good to see some proper credit / video sequence for a slightly longer video. The stunts were decent, but filmed well.

personally I thought it was great.. anything that can keep my ADHD mind from wandering after 5 minutes has got to be good... Good job guys.. keep it up

Haha cheers, although alot of them were cheesy as hell, didnt have a huge amount of time to edit it. But the cheesier the better with vids like this.
