ok I had to crash my comp recentlly and now when I try and upload footage it say I need a softwear that came with my camera or my computer I guess but I lost it, so could any one help me find the softwear on line?

When you mean upload do you mean camera to PC

you need to find the drivers for your camera and download them, they will be on the sony website!

yeah I know but I havent had money for a long time to make the switch
but hopefully this month I can get a fire wire
but I found the software thanks for trying to help guys

Understandable.

My firewire card cost $40 and the cord $6. Not bad at all.

I got mine bundled together on ebay for 25 bucks. you guys suck at bargains.
