Ok, so the DVD came in the mail today, I said I'd review the movie, so I watched it right away. The movie stars with one of the guys saying the disclaimer out loud. His hands are tied behind his back, and theres a guy on his hands and knees behind him, and part way through reading the disclaimer, another guy runs up, and dropkicks him, so he trips over the guy behind him down a sand ditch. It actually looked a lot cooler than it sounds.
The DVD was kind of like a documentary. There was commentary between the clips, and had a style that was pretty unique.
The stunts were pretty surpising, as I hadn't seen anything from Hate Intelligence before. A lot of the stunts involved pins, thumbtacks and darts, but were pulled off pretty well, like piercing 2 teammates knuckles, connecting the piercings, and playing tug of war until they broke. And a stunt where a guy put his palms on 60 thumbtacks each, and had his friend jump to his hands.
There were some really gross stunts that were hard to watch, like "bobbing for crapples" where a guy shit in a toilet, put four apples in it, and bobbed them out with his mouth, and attempting to eat shit.
There was also a section made for the nutshot competition, where on of the guys put his balls in a mousetrap, got them hit with a light tube, and some other stuff. A lot of the stuff was also filmed at work and school. One scene had the guy jump out of his second story window in the middle of a class, where he later said they threatened to not let him graduate, among other things.
The last 15 minutes sempt pretty boring, just showing footage of them in an abbandonned building.
Overall, the DVD was pretty good. Editing needed some serious work, since a lot of scenes dragged on. Could have been condensed a lot, but still enjoyable.
