But judging from peoples comments, Rico's appearance was pretty average. Man, you're EXPECTED to cause a ruckus or be a smartarse on those type of shows- take Ty Beeson* for example (the guy who represents bumfights alot of the time), he's the master of it. And don't say 'they wouldn't have shown the segment' if you did, that type of stuff is gold for t.v. ratings.

Ok I read all the posts and let me say something

NONE OF YOU KNOW HOW NERVOUS IT WAS SITTING THERE. YOU CAN SAY "I WOULDA HIT TYRA IN THE FACE" OR "I WOULD HAVE TOLD OFF THE KIDS MOM" but none of you know what it was like sitting there. If you go on a TV show and you cause chaos and show your dick and do dumb shit, then good for you, I'm proud of you. I doubt they'd show the episode, but you can do what you want. The bottom line is that they showed Arse Marks on NATIONAL TV and now people are looking up the site and Im getting good press.

Of course I was pissed sitting there. They told me it would be in negative light, then they brought out that kid. You think I was happy? Fuck that, of course not, but you guys can say all the stuff "YOU WOULD" have done, but it's just not that easy. Some of you guys talk a SHIT TON. Well prove me wrong and get on TV and do that.

I never blamed Jackass, I said we knew the risks we were taking, and I also never said I would stop doing stunts. I said what I wanted.

That said, thanks for those who supported me. It was totally worth it, a free trip to California, paid-for limos, paid for hotels, paid for food, articles in paper, tons of awesome press from freinds and family, I come from a small town, and for me to be on TV, almost EVERY SINGLE person knows. Don't feel bad for how I looked, I didn't look the way I wanted but FUCK IT, Arse Marks the name GOT OUT THAT. Thats the bottom line.

I was one that talked shit at first. But, after watching it, I see where you're coming from and am all for you now. Nothing bad came out of this for you. Outside of the fact that they made it seem like you had changed by the end of it. Knowing you outside of the show though, I know you haven't. I still don't wish I were you though, man. And seriously, look at Tyra's face at 6:51-6:52 when she's talking about the adolescent mind. It's so damn funny.

I'm on Rico's side here. Those Ty Beeson comments are just dumb.. There's no one on these forums who's as mediasexy as Ty Beeson, it's ridiculous to even give it a thought, so why would Rico be any different. All of the stunt guys here on HGF are just 'lost troubled teenage boys' to the people who do these shows or whatever makes them look good for the general audience, who are easy to lure to their shows as guests and pretend to help them in front of all of the 1000s of people who watch the show and never hear from themselves again after that.
If Rico would've pulled a Ty Beeson or anything alike, this would never have aired. Ty Beeson was shown on tv because Dr Phil himself wanted so. It made him look better. They have all the control, if Rico would've done anything against them, they would've just cut him off the show and got fucking Sam Evans on the hot seat. Most of the people who've been flapping their lips so far about what he should've done would've been just like Rico if they were in his shoes

I was a little surprised at the beginning of your segment at your explanation on why you do stunts, and what you get out of it though.. Sounded like you have absolutely no clue about what you're doing, like you only do stunts to be reknowned and cool in other people's eyes. Surely you know better than that.
But anyway, I think you handled it well. Good job dude
