While digging the pit they stumble upon a coffin and an old arabian lamp. Trizz throws the lamp at someones head causing a Genie to appear. "I offer you one wish" He tells the group
"Sweet we each get one wish!?" Someone from the crowd says.
"No, One wish for the entire group" Bellows the Genie
"Hey guys, Im sure we can all come up with one wish to benifit us all!" Says John Marcher
Trizz punches John Marcher in the face then says
"Lets settle this, No Mercy Style. Fighting tournament, right here, right....."
"Stop" Screams the Genie "I didnt wait 3000 Years to see a pussy slap fight, So I shall grant you each one power to use for the duration of the fight. Lastly, This will be a fight to the death!" Dun dun dun......

Also, Lurking in the shadows,or in a nearby coffin. Charles Darwin spies on the Group, fed up with them disproving his theory, and looking to stop them from "polluting the gene pool".

Pretty cool man. Is it all gonna look that sketchy though on the edges of everything or is it just my screen?

sorry man.. but that teaser is a joke right? I read the thread and thought.. WOW , they did it again and WOW yeah it actually is a dope idea to make a game about and then I saw the teaser.

The edges of the "player" images aren't even cut off right.. how can I take a game like this serious? Come one Leroy. I have a lot of respect for you and love your stuff.. but this is a joke.

Game should be out this year.

We are waiting on a decent distribution deal for the next dvd, we did put out one already though (too bad it was old and shitty)

Webby smells

Also, this game, while based in reality, has alot of fantasy aspects...one of them being us releasing a dvd anytime soon :)

It wont look sketchy, thats early test work, doesnt reflect how the final product will look. Its just so you have an idea of how it is.
Which is why it says "Early Test Footage" at the top. The final version will look like mortal kombat 2

Xbox - You will need a modded xbox, I will upload the disc image, you would then burn it on a dvd, and put it in the xbox

PSP - I will upload the file, and you will place it on your memory card, then boot it off that.

Yes, it will be 2 players, with various settings
2 on 2 battles - Have 2 people simultaniously take on two others (Can also be 2 on 1)
Stock Battles - Choose up to four characters for one on one matches.
Normal 1 vs 1 matches as well.

here is a photo of 2 on 2

I wasn't really expecting much from this at all, but that plot line alone sounds funny as fuck, nothing beats irrelevant random humour.

Are you gonna put unlockable mixups on the main screen, so you can get rewarded for beating certain parts in the story mode?

Its not likley....Unless I figure out a decent way to do it....I could just have it so when you bea the game with someone, a weblink to an unreleased video appears. you could then write it down and check it out from there.

As far as programing an unlocking system for videos...that might be a little tough...

I was considering doing the weblink thing for hidden characters...

Your using an engine as a base right?

I know how much work it is dude.. I've worked on loads of MODS for Duke and Half-Life, worked on the best for Duke3D when it was hot and made my own standalone game for Duke 3d : http://borgn.totalconversions.com

I know it's a shitload of work. Took me years to finish. And what sucks most is, me being a perfectionist.. always wanted to change things. Like, when shit seemed to be almost done I wanted to change 60% of it again and it took me another year etc... eventually couldn't get enough people to help me to finish it and finished it as it was.. which wasn't my goal but it turned out pretty well. I wish you good luck with your project man.. but it's gonna takes loads of time.. hope you enjoy working on it.. it can be a real bitch some times :)

Here is a question for you guys

I know you would like to see video intros and outros... (As would I)

But the main difference between the two (other then short load times when a video is loading)

No live action vids - around 1 gig or so.
Live action vids - Around 6 gigs total

So if most people dont mind the large file size, then ill set it up that way!

6gigs is abit much I think, as much as id like to see some live action videos I doubt you'd get many downloads when its that big of file. maybe like a comic strip that pands down showing stunts and images of the person you've picked so people get a feel of what there like rather than just knowing a name and face...for new fans that is.

19 January 2007, 19:31 UTC#21
I have to agree with Marc, 6 gigs is a whole lot man. Not sure what alternatives you could have. This may sound lame, but just have a URL flash on the screen when you pick someone as a link to a video on your site that would be the video that would normally be there. That way it doesn't have to be in the game itself, but it's still accessible if people want it. Just an idea though, for Xbox and PS2, it'd be lame to write it down and stuff, but for PC it won't be too hard to take a screen cap and get the link to the vid. I don't know, I figure that way you can still have the vids filmed and be a part of the game, just not within the game itself. Save 5 gigs and... I don't know?
19 January 2007, 19:32 UTC#22
Dude.. 6 gigs? why so much? Im pretty sure theres a way to compress them. Like that graphic adventures games like Cyberia and shit that HAD LOTS OF VIDS ad it was created like in 1996.. there wasnt 6 gigs in that time..
19 January 2007, 19:56 UTC#23
It'd be so much cause Leroy isn't a professional programmer, you guys are expecting a bit much.

I'd say the 1 gig, 6 would take too long and take way too much hd space.

yeah, leave the intros and shit for a... DVD.

Our test trizz character is the only one, well, besides the shitty version of me.

I assure you, the final game will have more than one character ;)

21 January 2007, 07:35 UTC#28
Ha ha, I was only kidding. The Trizz test character alone is more characters than I have for my non-existent video game. Looks good man.

much better quality, no green spots.

Those are just test characters, we will start filming the real characters real soon
