My point is that Bam didn't have to partake in as many Brutal stunts in Jackass 2 as he did. He would have earned the exact same amount by just fucking with his parents and skating around, pretty much like he did in the first film.
The fact that he chose to do some of the most fucked up stunts regardless garners respect, IMO.

in that shot, that lens was fucking HUGE. I swear that had to be at least 8 inches wide.

Mako, it may not be brutal by HGF standards, but to the demographic that jackass 2 was aimed at, Ie: Mtv kids, who aren't familiar with the harder end of the spectrum, it would seem quite brutal. And I for one thought it was cool that he shied away from fucking with his parents and actually participated in the more fucked up stunts.

Granted the golden dildo was pretty gay, but when Bam steps up to take over a stunt steve-o backs out of, that shows balls that I didn't think were present myself.

I never implied that Bam was a hardcore stuntman, or indeed even the best member of Jackass. All I said was that he stepped it up when he didn't have to. He would have got $2 million just sitting on his ass.
Of course he's not GNARLY, he's a skater who occasionally dabbles in stunts.

its gone from stating bam is better than anyone here at stunts to saying he isnt better than the hardcore stuntmen of hgf but he was good in jackass 2. I doubt he would of got payed 2mill if he didnt do anything. when your in a crew your not going to let one of the crew back out of all his stunts and still get the same paycheck.

Sean basically said that Bam upped the ante when he didn't have to. Which he did. I honestly believe he would've got paid the same if he did shit stunts. Whether or not you do is your opinion and you're entitled to it. Can we drop it now?

Listen, I'm the one who said Bam was a better stuntman than everyone here (which I admit was an exaggeration....but he is better than MOST people- like 90%+). I never once mentioned the word 'hardcore' either.

If you take into account skating, skits, public pranks, general stunts, on-screen charisma etc etc...it's easy to see where I'm coming from, although my initial statement didn't really include those aspects.
