Fuck The Cops

ok, here is the story. late saturday night my friend Jb was on his way home from a party and he got pulled over by the cops when he was only 20 feet from his house. the first thing cop #1 ask's is if there is any drugs or alcohol in the car and he says no, but cop #2 says "drop him" and cop #1 opens the car door and jerks him out, taking him to the ground and shoving his face down with his foot. while they were putting him in handcuffs they tell him it's just payback. so because the cops wanted to be assholes, he did 5 nights in jail and got out today. what kinda shit is that to do to someone when there not even doing anything. the cops said they had been watching him for 3 months. the best thing of all is that Jb's neighbor has video footage of the whole fuking thing. I'm going to try and get my hands on the video.

thats the thing, he doesn't know why they said that. they were just really pissed for some reason and thought they would fuk with him.

That sounds rather one-sided. I highly doubt they'd arrest your friend for "no reason." He's a hooker, right?

To keep him locked up 5 days they have to give him a reason. He cant just be chucked into a cell and left without being informed why.

I dont know my friend got 3 days in jail for riding a under 150 cc scooter without a licence.
law in illinois is if its under 150 cc you can drive without a licence

He probably did something and he's trying to get out of it by saying nothing. If they're watching him for that long they gotta have reason to and like people said they can't have detained him without any reason, are you sure he ain't keeping anything from you?

Sorry but that story sounds like a bunch of bullshit. If your friend who spent 5 days in jail for nothing had parents, they would be processing a lawsuit right about now and those cops would be fired.

I haven’t spoken up here in a while so I might as well here.

The main thing about your story that doesn’t add up is that to be "booked" into jail, the officer has to fill out paperwork on the charges that the person is being arrested for. The jail doesn’t just take the people that police bring in and not ask any questions why they are locking them up. And for him to be held for 5 days, it would have had to have been something pretty serious. The law states that you must have a court hearing at the soonest possible time to set bail or be formally charged. If this happened on a Friday, the longest he could have been locked up without seeing a judge and setting bail would have been 3 days because there are no courts on weekends. Anything under a felony level crime, you can not be held in jail longer then it takes to see a judge. So for your friend to be locked up for 5 days with no reason at all is a little bullshit, and there is something that you aren’t telling us, or that he isn’t telling you.

they said he was resisting arrest, and tried to get him alcohol charges but he refused the breathalizer test and on top of that he's only 20, not of legal age to drink. so they are also trying to throw a dui charge in the mix of all things. most likely the resisting arrest charges will be dropped after the video is presented in the court.

Where's this video then?

Still not enough to be held in jail for 5 days. Underage drinking tickets aren’t even punishable by jail time, only fines. And resisting arrest would have had a ridiculously low bail set in court when he saw a judge first thing the next morning.



If he had been in jail, he would have had to have been in court already to see a judge to get bail set.
