Rip/off Presents: Hans

This is going to sound alot harsher than neccesary which is only because its from the rip off boys and after that dvd I expect all videos to be at the same standered.

But it wasnt bad. Could have been cut in half. It had its few moments but overall what let it down was the angles and editing. WHich onviously isnt that easy with two people, but films like saw rely very heavily on audio and video editing to set the mood, which I didnt think was that great in this vid. I could tell you tried at the start, but at same time is was too similar to mistor morbid for my liking.

But you had some good ideas and it was good enough to watch to the end so good job.

I look forward to seeing the sequel, but next time try to make your garage abit more empty to stop the viewer from realising its a garage, and try to make the room darker and light up the actual character/focus point.

Yeah I know, this was done pretty quickly maybe even a little rushed, and we just built up the plot as we were filming it. Most of the lighting is edited in, because the original lighting in the garage is all yellow and ugly and it doesn't give much room for imagination. But I tried my best

gotta agree with dex and yeah for it to have a good effect you need to have fastpaste 'saw' style editing, other wise it looks abit boring ya know....but dont agree with the mister morbid thing.

and I agree that the editing should've been faster to make it more sawish but this was mostly just a parody so the main point was just that people would realize to relate this to the Saws and not that much to make a good remake of the movie. cheers for watching dude

It's all good dude, there were loads of things in this video we would've wanted to do better ourselves too, starting from angles to whole scenes. I understand all the critique so far 100%

When you guys say that the lighting could've been better, do you mean outdoors only or indoors too?

But the lighting out door's was fine to me. I enjoyed the out door shot's, minus the angles.

The indoor shot's should of been a bit darker, and the audio wasn't great.

The quality of the image and sound are shit on youtube so many things important for the plot becomes hard to catch. Like the Plow part... He forgot to install the plow... well anyways I think it makes it booring if you really dont know what's going on... And that was our biggest mistake
Like Ben said we are a bit rusty and didnt work hard enough on making things click...
This skit is all about the guy in the hilarious mask(which ben made in 4th grade) its about him fucking things up and eventually fucking himself up.
I think that the angles work well we didnt want to put to much weight on making them extaordinary.
Anyways the acting is pretty shit partley because we filmed some parts only once.

I hope that clears up something...

Was pretty good. The "outdoors" part werent necessary, you should have started with Jones sitting there.. but it was good.

I expected better acting from Tom Cruise after awesome roles in Last Samurai or Magnolia, but it was good.

Sorry man, I thought it was actually pretty good, since you're not really known for doing skits too often, it worked well. And considering that you edited the lighting in for a lot of it, I'd say it looks pretty natural.

Nice, didn't read all the comments and was only able to watching it now..... but had to skim through to make sure this was a parody, as if it wasn't.... it would have been the worst skit ever.

Anyways, good job, I lauged, mainly the first time Ben came in on the little bike thing, was nicely done and all, but yeah... you could have done better.

Yeah I thought this movie was fucking awsome, kept me watching and laughing all the way through.

Really pro quality dudes good shit, you guys should film a whole real movie, and do your own stunts in them and you can make that the sequal to the rip/off movie.
