Design A Homepage Picture

Yo, Mike Gaboff here.

My buddy and I are building a new web site but if you did not know already we are not too handy with photoshop. Here's the deal, I am looking for someone with experience in photoshop that is willing to design a homepage picture for my new website mikeiscrazy.com The picture will be almost like a collage of all my stunts with the main one in the middle.

Unfortunately I can not pay you for your time because this new venture has no budget at all but here is what I can do for your time...

I will give you credit on the picture, link your groups site to both weplaycrazy.com and mikeiscrazy.com. FYI- WePlaycrazy.com is averaging 400,000 plus hits a week so the exposure would be good on your end. Also I will mail you 5 free Hella Crazy DVD's. Stickers, and if you ever heard of a clothing company called Ecko I will mail a shit load of their new gear and designs I usually get them in a few months before they hit stores.

If you live in the US I can discuss the design over the phone, otherwise we can work through email. Also maybe attach a site that has some of past work so I can look at all your styles. Thanks.

Might as well just send it alll to me now. I am like a PS god....I mean look at mine and Dex's sigs, they were both created by me and are the single greatest peices of art to come form the program that is photoshop.

Ok I got the pictures ready. Everyone who gives it a try please email me the picture(s) to [email address redacted][u] along with your shipping address and I will send you a free DVD. For the picture I like the most and I decide to choose I will send you 5 dvds, gear, stickers, etc.


I am looking for my homepage picture to portay that I do stuntwork and make films at the same time, Stuntman/Filmmaker is what we have up already. What I think would look god is have my main picture in the middle with the other pics surrounding it in a fade/collage type look. I don't know, I might be wrong... please use your own creativity in this and remember you do not have to use all the pictures either if you dont think some of them fit your piece. Ok cool, good luck cant wait to see these.

What are the dimensions for this and any idea of the page background colour?

Do you meen like a splash page?

yeah...are you wanting a splash or are you wanting like a background that your content will be in front of?

My answer is whatever you guys think is better, a splash photo or a background with the content on it. Treat this like its your own web site. I will say if you are going to do a background color make it basic colors, I do not want blues, greens, yellows, reds, or any of the stand out colors.

As far as dimensions go I am no expert but does 800 x 600 sound good. I dont know, Fuck it. Do whatever just make sure you email it to me in Jpeg format.

800x600 sounds a little bit big. If it's a spash page, 600x600, or 600x450 sounds a bit better.

Yo all you guys fucking rock on here, I would just like to thanks to everyone for giving this a crack, it is amazing how much help I can find on the homegrown forums. Any photoshoppe is welcome to keep submitting a picture as I will post the winner in 4-5 days which I will use their picture as my homepage. Etiher way everyone is getting a fucking free hella crazy so there is no losing.

yo man, mike here. I do not have firefox on the computer I am at but when I clicked the link it was probably one of the worst designs ever. I even could of done something equivalent. Is there another way to see this piece, the better one you say?
