I just finished a new promo for our upcoming skate video. It's just footage from one day at a new skate park we went to. Enjoy.

DOWNLOAD|YouTube (much shittier quality).

Pimp video, the quality was pimp as well.

But if I saw that promo, as a guy who buys alot of skate videos, I wouldn't buy that video. The tricks were solid just not very impressive.

But I know the DVD will be sick so either way I'm getting it.

Yeah, that was a really strong video. I think that as far as a big sales-getter, this Promo may not do as well. It was pretty good tempo-wise, but like Al said, it's sort of normal things.(Not that I could do any of it, but you get my point) The fact that your DVD will have a lot more to offer for entertainment outside of the skating is what will really help you sell copies (if that's what you're after that is). I'd say a Promo that really showcases the entertainment value of WJDC outside of just the skating will do really well for you. Nice video, not too long, but it gave enough to make me glad I watched it. Nicely done, just know you have a lot more to offer.

Get some street skating in there nukka, maybe some confentation, when I see a promo with only indoor park footage I imagine the DVD being only indoor park footage.

Swell vid, but I agree with this Al guy above me, eventhough the footage kicked butt, I think there should be more outdoor skating in there aswell. But as always, I enjoyed the clip

This is just some clips from one trip to a new skate park, not by far our best stuff, and as far as sales go, we mostly just plan on selling it locally, but if people online want one, we'll definitely ship em out.

Crackly sound might be from the YouTube video, did you use the downloaded one?

Kinda ended in a flash too me.... if it had a better ending it would have come off as an even better video imo.

Regardless... some of that syncing was sweet, was scary. :D
Talking about the bits from like 18secs, where he lands and kinda has a whiplash effect, and the next clip.

As I said, didn't really dig the ending, I was just about too get proper into it with the syncing, and it ended, kinda left with nothing if you know what I mean.... good skating.... but. :(

Still though... I enjoyed.

Edit; what exact settings did you use man?
On youtube it looked great.

tbh didnt really like it. This is coming from someone who deosnt desperately enjoy skating but enjoys some skating vids. But I didnt like editing, thought some clips dragged and didnt like angles, seeing as I enjoy skate vids where the people do stuff that make me go omg and decent editing and angles I didnt really enjoy this one.

This was just a thrown together clip just to show we're still filming and just footage from one day.

Settings were just highest quality wmv in movie maker, nothing special.

Ah, only skimmed through the first post..... for one day that ain't bad.

Anyways, I just never bother compressing my videos and just up with whatever resolution I saved before, never tried actually trying to make it look good on youtube.... etc. :P

Can't wait for more stuff.

Trust me man, for the actual video trailer, the video will look worth buying, especially for $10.

Or, if you're a total cheap ass I'll ship out a burned DVD with the video on it for even cheaper.

Yeah probably if there's no way you can get an actual copy, because I don't want to sacrifice quality.
