How do I...
1) Wipe my 2 HD's.
2) Uninstall a copied version of Windows.
3) Partition a new (third) HD.
4) Install a real version of Windows Home Edition.
I need to do all of this to sort everything out.
Can anyone help?

1; get
partition magic 2; you can't really uninstall windows without formatting unless you upgraded from windows 98/ME/2000. in which case I can help you get back to that stage.
3; use partition magic
4; find one and install it
usually doing number one will do number two if windows is on one of those hard drives.
if you want any help on not using partition magic I can help you with Fdisk if you have a startup floppy to run it from.

I dont mind formatting.
How do I format?
I put the new HD in, and now it says ''Reboot and select proper boot device.
Or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key."
Assuming that is asking me to put my new copy of Windows in now?

first you need to boot into your bios when your comp boots up and alter the boot sequence so that it loads from your cd drive first. do this then restart your comp with xp disc in the drive, when the shit comes up follow the instructions of what type of formatting and partioning you want. pretty straight forward stuff mate.
