We've thrown something together for you man, when in DV-AVI, how big usually is each clip? Because this one is like 200MB.. =z
12 November 2006, 23:08 UTC#32
Need to approve samples first. After clips have been approved thats when I request a DV-AVI.
But yeah, DV-AVI usually comes in at between 100-160MB

You want a link? Or shall I wait until you need the 8 per week?
12 November 2006, 23:21 UTC#34
Just email it as an attachment to elliot @ pickledeggs.tv
As long as its under 5mb it will be fine. Just name it CIRC01
13 November 2006, 07:24 UTC#35
Did you get it alright buddy?
13 November 2006, 09:29 UTC#36
Yep got it.
Its fine. The only feedback Ive got is maybe mix up the shots a little bit more, instead of having all the same setups one after another mix all the different scenes up. Maybe even mix it up with other footage to the point where there's not 1 setup the same in the whole clip.
Not sure how much footage you've got of other stuff but I found that clip dragged on a little bit because of the repetitive stunts and setups.
See what you can do. The content itself is perfect, good skating bails and good camera and quality. But see if you can mix up the clip a little bit more to give it a bit more energy. If you can do that I can see a lot of your clips being picked up.
13 November 2006, 10:50 UTC#37
Will start making a clip or two for you now. Do you want <5mb samples on them as well?
13 November 2006, 11:17 UTC#38
Yeah email them through. But it will be for the current deal not this one (ie: The other thread)

Ahhh right so do you want faster cuts or anything? Or do you not want much editing down of it?
What sort of stunts would be acceptable? Could you give a few examples so I know what isn't going too far.

So I'll mix this one around a bit more and vary it up and it'll be alright, yeah?
xx
13 November 2006, 11:48 UTC#40
Umm, maybe not so much faster cuts, but quicker editing and mixing it up a bit. Anything to add more energy. As I said, the content was great but the clip lacked something. I know its hard without music but see what you can do.
In terms of stunts, just nothing fire, violent, obcene or gross. Knock me up a sample or post a description of what stunt you're thinking of and Ill let you know if I can submit it.
13 November 2006, 11:54 UTC#41
Any kind of jumps are acceptable, right?
13 November 2006, 11:56 UTC#42
Yeah all kinds.
17 November 2006, 03:24 UTC#43
OK. They definately want 8 a week.
They're finding out early next week if the pitch for this went ok. If they got the contract Ill need clips coming in very frequently.
Will be doing a bi-monthly delivery of 16 per time.
Ive also requested that the rules are relaxed a bit on content and Ill also find out next week.
If anyones got any questions feel free to hit me up. If anyone also wants to refer me to other stunt group they know Ill make sure you're looked after. There's plenty of content needed, more than enough space to go around.

I will make as many as you need. Just lemme know what we can put in them if the rules relax.

?

Awesome dude, will let you know.
As I said, Ill have 400 a week to hand out and really want to get rid of it.
17 November 2006, 10:36 UTC#48
You still got 6 slots open for December?
17 November 2006, 10:47 UTC#49
indeed I do.

indeed I do.
Im gonna try and get a slot for the December addition cuz I have some new footage
17 November 2006, 23:26 UTC#51
OK No probs, there's still 6 left
22 November 2006, 00:26 UTC#52
Should be finding out in the next day if this is going ahead but it looks likely.
The rules may get relaxed a little bit by the looks of it but not a considerable amount.
Will be needing an absolute shitload so if anyone's thinking about getting some stuff over start preparing and I can get you payment by Christmas.
22 November 2006, 10:07 UTC#53
We'll see what we can do. Do you want weird shit? Like a guy turning his hand in a 360 which looks cool. Or is that not what you got in mind?
22 November 2006, 10:10 UTC#54
Umm, maybe if its cut with other stuff yeah. Like in a mixup style.
Spoke to my guy today. Ill have $16,000 over 10 months to give away. I have to get rid of it all in 10 months or I lose the account.
The more money of his I can give away the better for everyone. If this happens Ill have 250-500 cash bonuses for anyone who submits over 50 clips. Ill work out some sort of bonus system but it will be based on something like that.
22 November 2006, 12:12 UTC#55
How many clips is that needed overall over the ten months?
22 November 2006, 20:27 UTC#56
320
