The father of the Malawian boy adopted by singer Madonna now says he would not have agreed to adoption if he knew it meant giving up his son "for good".

Yohane Banda said adoption services in Malawi had never told him the procedure meant that 13-month-old David would no longer be his son.

However on Sunday, Mr Banda, who is illiterate, said he had no idea what the High Court adoption papers he signed had meant and he was "just realising" what the procedure entailed.

He said: "I was never told that adoption means that David will no longer be my son... If I was told this, I would not have allowed the adoption.

Mr Banda, 32, said he thought Madonna would just "educate and take care of our son".

Haha that dumb fucker got pwntd and now has no son!

Now, I'm no fan of Madonna. But this:

QUOTE
Mr Banda's cousin, Wiseman Zimba, told AP: "Our understanding as family is that David is still part and parcel of our clan. After the good woman nurtures and educates him, he will return back.

really pisses me off. Those free-loading fucks think that it's ok to sign over their son so that the stupid white people can pay for their education and welfare, and then take them back? Fuck that!

Besides, I doubt the kid will want to return anyway. Which would you choose - life of luxory or going back home, where the only meal is a combination of the last villager to die and your own shit?

Did he think his son was on some sort of loan scheme?

yeah right...that kid will never wanna go back. Not just cause of the luxury of living with Madonna...but because he'll also get to see Madona nekkid and stuff and thats radical.

Father should be happy his son will grow up without AIDS.

Guy Ritchie says to Madonna: "That's the last time I give you the credit card and tell you to go get yourself a little black number..."

Haha, I remember seeing in the paper something about the dad saying "it is hard to say goodbye but I know that we will see him again in three or four years time."

Only now do I, and probably everyone else, realise that he didn't just mean for a visit

:D
