I Broke Both Bones In My Lower Leg

so I broke my leg skating last tuesday...I went skating at this spot with huge handrails with my buddy Jason...I was trying this trick that I had never done on a handrail(for inliners it was a 'sweat stance' or topside miszou)...and I fell...landed on top of my own leg and broke both bones in my leg down close to my ankle...that isnt the bad part...the way I fell put great stress on my legs and also tore all ligaments from my lower leg down which means they had to be reattached...so Wednesday around 4 I had a 3 hour surgery...they went through 3 drill bits putting rods and screws into my bones and tendons...enough to set off airport security...I get my staples out tomorrow...and I cant put any wait on the foot for 8 to 10 weeks...so yeah...I may also never be able to skate again...and that really sucks cause I had been ripping up shit lately...I was so read for a nice skate mix...

Coming from me just getting off a broken heal...rehab will suck, for me it was easy as hell with no pain, but usually after surgery and no weight its gonna hurt.

thx alot man...no I didnt film it...my mom put our charger somewhere so the cam is dead and with aaron...I was practicing some new tricks for us to film...I wish I woulda got it...it looked like what you see in skate videos with the leg point a different direction then normal...bad thing was...my was facing backwards...haha...I got oxycodine for it

well...I got a real cast today and got copies of my Xrays so ill post those soon...I have a 6 inch plate, 8 screws and like a 2 1/2 inch pin going into my leg...the xray looks cool...so yeah...ill be on all weekend tho...<3 to all for caring

that would be the one...it doesnt look hard but its topside which means you have to jump from the opposite side of the rail and lock on the farside...
