Has anyone heard about this game yet? It sounds and looks sooo cool. It comes out October 17th. Check it out!

You play as Jimmy Hopkins, a boy who is sent to Bullworth Academy because his mother wants to spend time with her new boyfriend and doesn't want Jimmy to be involved. So basically in the game there are 6 groups of people in the game, Nerds, Preps, Bullies, Jocks, Townies and Greasers.

It has it's own schedule like a real school does, you go to classes and the classes are mini-games, you go to the classes and you can upgrade your skills, Gym Class for example can help increase your fighting skill or toughness.

The game is roughly 40+ hours, and is huge. There are 5 chapters in the game, Chapter 1 is a 6-8 hour tutorial and when you go to Chapter 2, you can do whatever you want.

There is no blood or killing in the game, there is Stink Bombs, Cherry bombs etc. You can also pull the fire alarm which is funny, if you are caught doing evil things such as using these weapons or skipping classes often you will get punished, either by Mowing the lawn, Shoveling Snow in the winter time etc.

it's about the entertainment and gameplay value, it's rockstar. they only make the best games.

Yeah, that's true. But it would be a lot better if they made it more vulgar, if at the least, as far as the dialogue goes. High schoolers cuss, a lot, why present it like they don't? There's not a lot of violence in most Prep Schools, so I don't see why they would make it that way, but the language is a must for realism. I'll be waiting for this to come out on Xbox, PS2 is second place to the Box in my heart.

I'll probably buy this when it's $20, since not many games are worth $50.

I like the sound of this game, though a lack of blood and gore is a dissapointment...

I got the game today and played it for like 3 hours straight. It's fun. Just like GTA besides the stealing cars and killing. Controls are just like it, you can deffantly tell it's a ROCKSTAR game. I <3 this game though.

Since we're unofficially making this the 'Rockstar shoulda-woulda-coulda" thread, Rockstar should release one more Max Payne.

Yeah! And they should do another Manhunt! I need even more graphic killing than the first one could provide.

Edit- And some add-on to The Warriors, that game rocked if you missed it.

A PS3 Manhunt would be fucking great. They could improve the original so much and put much better atmospheric effects in.

That game was unsettling enough on the PS2, add the PS3 abilities and a dark room with surround sound and that's a hell of a scary experience.

I rented bully today, it's nothing fantastic, it seems like they just needed to put out something to hold us over for GTA4, however it's still fun and amusing.
