Hey guys... I know it's been a while since I've posted, but I just wanted to let you know that it's not because I don't like homegrown... it's just because I've been extremely busy.

I scored my own TV show on DirecTV channel 101 (US nationwide) called "The FIZZ" which will air in late fall and I also have 2 shows on Comcast as well as Charter Cable. My day show "Keep It Stupid!" and my late show "Professional Idiot".

I've also been busy with YouTube because I have reached the top 50 subscribed members of all time and I'll be in the top 40's next week with the release of my new live action music video "I Will Not Pay".

::MY SUGGESTION for HOMEGROWN::

Instead of just posting videos and crossing your fingers they get seen.. why don't you guys start off by doing individual VIDEO RESPONSES to some of the most popular videos. Renetto got big like that and so did many others. Get involved more and I can guarantee you guys will get more members. NOW IS THE TIME!!! Jackass was a hit, so you guys should be banking from the success!

Yeah, I can honestly say that's why I've stopped filming, I'm in college now and doing things that'll hopefully help me out a lot more in the long run than bush-diving and stuff. Over the summer I'm starting up a skit group with some friends that'll be really good, I promise. But until then, I'm just posting so I don't lose touch with everything here.

that dude, thats why first aid died off. I'm in my last year of highschool and there are so many promising things to look forward to than hurting myself. mind you, I still enjoy watching others do stunts

I've grown up a bit but I'm not done just yet. Not till I get my school bus and do Operation Bum Deportation with Kane.

Like fucking what, honestly?

I'd rather film me and my friends fuck around, pranking and stunting, while doing the buisness end then anything else I can think of really. Except maybe like write for a website or books, but I can do that while I film, I already do. I can finally start making money doing stuff I love these days, and fun all kinds of shit I want to do with freak.inc as well.

Until all my friends move on, or die, or move away I'll still be filming with freak.inc, once they leave I guess I'll just rock it like Duran and Dan G do.

I think you can have a happy medium between going to school and still fucking aorund with your freinds!

The positive thing for us is that everyone still live close to each other, so we don't really have anything that would keep us from filming. And I'm dying to film stuff, seems like ages ago we've just sat down and filmed something decent. I WANNA FILM!

Well actually we're gonna start filming more with vode now for our joint inbred group, but I miss filming good old Rip/Off stuff

well I personally have grown up alot since I started filming, and I realize the negative effetcs some of my actions caused on society. for instance where me and my friends were doing light tube stunts, it was written in the local newspaper that dogs and children were cutting there feet in that area because of broken glass. sure I really enjoyed filming and it was one of the best experiences in my life, but now it doesn't appeal to me to set my self on fire just so I could film it. the whole ordeal caused a bunch of negative attention tha I didn't want.

jeez clean up after yourself man.then maybe you wouldn't feel so bad about that.

I understand you guys.. Im expierincing the same thing. Used to love doing stunts and shit but it just died out.. Im still busy with a lot of things that have to do with design and art. Love making music, making clothes, art etc.. that's where my heart is at and thats why I started with homegrown in the first place. I guess it's just one of those "fases" in your life tho. I still love to film but as you grown up.. things happening to relatives and friends.. and of course something like what happened to webby maybe you think of life. Whats so cool of a clip of jump that says "OMG BROKEN WRIST" at the end while the chance is big your wrist will be fucked for life? My right knee is fucked for life so is my left thumb. Small things but they suck tho.

This doesn't mean I don't love to watch stunts and things going wrong.. Im just happy I got out of it "okay" haha.

I dont regret anything I did tho.. haha I laugh about what an asshole I used to be.. wouldn't do em again but regrets.. hell no!

As for Prof. Idiot.. nice going man.. if this is what you love to do, totally go for it.. as long as you don't get bored off it.

Advice: Never Grow up.

I come on daily, usually to share some fun stories or look for help with editing (not that many people respond to that). As far as giving up stunts, im just trying to get the first Hate Intelligence film out, and I got a slew of huge ideas for the next one, and I dont think its a matter of growing up, it might be, but the only way I've "grown up" since starting is doing harder stunts, promoting the crew more, being smarter about when and where to do things if I want to attract attention, and just becoming more appreciative of what I knew from day one "the only purpose of filming is to have fun and hopefully spread that to others". I can see why some people break away from it (one of my friends mikey stopped filming with us and started smoking weed "getting hurt isnt too promising" oh the irony). but yeah I'm doing my best to keep up with everything and if I was more technologically advanced you'd see video posts from me and stuff as well!
I hope this forum stays relevent, because its a fuckin great one!
