The banner is a bit plain tbh.
Maybe add some screenshots, or some sort of design? It looks a bit crap just blue like that.

Maybe just re-do the banner and put some groups on there. That'd be really cool. If you are doing that, please let me know so I can post some screen shots. I really wanna get on this.
Also, the border needs to be darker...or white.
I like it other than that though.

I like it, its still smart, but not as depressing. just an idea but maybe get some decent quality photos off some groups related to homegrown and have a nice banner like on rotation when you refresh the picture changes. here's an example but with better photos and I did this last nite before the bar worked properly.
