I've seen a thread like this before, just figured I'd rekindle it to get people talking. For those with still active crews, how is everything going? What's new in your crew?

Arse Marks

Still filming for The Rebirth DVD, just got a new Sony VX2000 with attachable light, mic, 3 different lenses, and tripod, so I'm pumped to start filming with that again (I had a VX2000 but just for rent). We have been filming still, not as many stunts, but we are all getting back into the stunt groove and filming a lot before winter comes here. We are taking promo shots of the whole crew next week together for the site/DVD. And finally, if things go through, me and Robole may be journeying down to visit Funk Master Steven and film some crazy shit for both the Arse DVD and the Freak Inc. DVD.

Me and Ian had a car accident the other day. We are in the process of filing for compensation on whiplash which we have both suffered. If we get money for that, then we are going to buy an XM2 like DR.

We will have a better camera one day to do more DVD filming with. We have 22 tapes full of decent quality stuff which we wanna use.

Sam has got loads of decent ideas down for filming, so its a case of finding the time to get that filmed. We went filming like last week so we get alot of stuff done, like half a tape per week of some good quality shit.

Kane will be filmed with. Whether he likes it or not.

And we have some ideas that we need to pitch to some UK groups that could be good filming.

For now we are just getting back into school so especially for this week things haven't gone fast.

After spending a year or so collecting footage for a new group we relized that the footage we were capturing wasn't the type of footage that could be presented and edited on its own and still keep people watching, also I really didn't have the equipment needed for creating some good pieces of work, and on top of that we are constantly moving so meeting new people who enjoy doing this kind of stuff is always a problem. So I ended up sending Al from Freak.Inc all of my tapes for him to use in the dvd. It's not really a bad thing at all though, I helped start Freak.Inc with Al and I love where its headed so I think I am going to continue supplying him footage.

DR are slowly but surely continuing with the Generate Damage project, we have a segment in an upcoming Indecline mixtape.
Now Liam is driving we are able to film more. So yeah, basically just a quest for footage over the next year. Still planning to start editing next summer for a fall 2007 release.

So Gary is out of the job then?

That happened to me, I got close to £3000, I was 13 at the time so I think I got more for being younger plus it was a few days after this, which got me alot of injury points, so I just went with that too, haha:

When are you releasing a proper mixup anyways? long awaited.

DOA are filming quite abit, but dont have anything that is dvd quality. We have quite alot of original ideas and plan to film sometime soon.

Did you go to a doctor before you made a claim? Or do they ask you to go and get proof AFTER the claim?

Depending on how fast this DVD Project goes (quite fast as we have been filming since last November) the first release could be a DVD Trailer/ Mixup.

Em, well the police told us to go to the hospital after investigating the accident, so we did, then when I was at the hospital they said we should claim since it was a head on collision, plus me being young.

What did you do?? I guess it depends on your age too... my dad and bro didn't get half as much as I did.

Seb is 17 and has been driving for a month, we are claiming on his insurance which is fully comp. So me made a claim online today and are waiting to being contacted.

Em, the accident I was in wasn't our fault at all, we where coming round a corner and another car came speeding round and hit us on the other side of the road, the guy was drunk.

But it seems like it was more or less your fault, haha, so I dunno, im sure you'll still get some cash since your under 18?

And my "group" is filming at the same rate as since the beginning,wich is slow but atleast were consistent

managed to find some new people tho who are interested so hopefully we will come back as a new group

my lot are just randomly filming shit here and there so we have something to put out in october...

WJDC is working on a skate video and a comedy video. The skate video will be done within about a year.

The comedy video will take a lot longer, because we want it to be perfect. Yep.

Rip Off is living large on the financial success of the first movie Fast cars, phat women, bling & vode.

We are allso working on a project with Vode. If we will pul it through it will the coolest thing ever.

Uhm...ManipulationVids is having trouble finding time to film. Although, Joanna and I are up for filming whenever.

Joanna is making a new mix-up and we just filmed some new stuff to be added to it.

Also, some members have issues with others, or other members dont wanna film and blah blah blah. Soo, heh. Its very confusing, or atleast to me.

Plus, school gets in the way now.

No Mercy Video

-We have a deal going with spike tv where they are going to buy the license for a bunch of our clips for this new show they have comming out. Im just waiting for the producer to contact me back and give me the info on which clips they want to buy.

-We recently had a meeting with the producers of our tv show. They like the pilot we have so far, but they want to go and film a more solid intro and one or two more skits for it. Since we only get one shot with mtv and whatnot and we gotta wow the fuck out of them. So in the next 2 weeks we will film those.

-Im working every night on the videogame, doing some final test stuff before we actually start filming the final characters for the game, its comming along nicley and ive cut myself down to 4 hours of sleep a night so I have time for the gf and for work...I love energy drinks.

-This new website comming out from the guys who do m90.org. They want to buy some exclusive content to use...so we might come up with something for that.

-We filmed a dance last night for mr safteys numa numa thing, it was pretty funny, I look forward to seeing what saftey does with it.

-We made videos for bumfights and for indecline, but I never got around to sending them out because I was too busy/lazy.

-We have a promotional idea for outselfs involving jackass 2, we have to do it very soon though so it may not happen. It involves reinacting scenes from jackass 2 with action figures and placing our website all over it., since ive been bombarded by bamtards on myspace.

SST vol.1 Should be out this christmas, the editing is delayed because my cam broke.

The second dvd should be out next spring.

I have, a "chase" skit when I first came, and a promo.
Also one or two other spare videos.

But we died out over a year ago so thats why nothing else has been released.... not filmed.

I might upload the videos onto youtube later, do you wanna see them? I know a few people loved the chase skit.
Also, we never knew about how lame chase skits where at the time around here, as I only found HGF then, haha, but still...

We haven't filmed much of anything since the house burned down and sort of scattered us to different places. Myself and Mike are in College and John's a fireman while Matt's finishing high school. We're probably mostly done with serious filming for a while. We have more than enough footage to make a really good DVD so we'll eventually get around to putting it all together. So yeah, that's basically it, we just don't have time anymore, but hopefully once we get the DVD done we'll get some more inspiration and film again maybe for a round 2.

No-one really wants to see a release from us anyways...
