I just got premiere pro like and hour ago. Ive been trying to figure shit out on my own but its not doing so good... Can you tell me some basics I should learn first.

Any thign I should know just starting out.
I woudl like to knwo how to do stuff that is probily easy and im just retarded like . Subtitles. Watermarks. cutting, ect.
I just want to know like basic stuff.
Google is'nt helping me out to well either. but im trying.

I filmed speach with a closed lens and im gonna use the footage but I want to put words over it. how can I insert and mess with text on a clip? can anyone help?
