“It comes as no shock at all that Steve Irwin should die provoking a dangerous animal,” PETA’s Dan Mathews tells The Scoop. “He made a career out of antagonizing frightened wild animals, which is a very dangerous message to send to kids.”

Does Irwin’s career as a naturalist impress the animal-rights group? Says Mathews: “If you compare him with a responsible conservationist like Jacques Cousteau, he looks like a cheap reality TV star.”

im all for animal rights but fuck, we are the master animal on the earth. it's ours and we took it. if they are so great then why don't they take it back ..

(im not making much sense as I am nearly out of beer, (I bought a crate about 2 n a half hours ago...)

Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should go around randomly disembowelling animals, unless we're hungry, or bored.

But what really pisses me off is when these cunts go around setting pets free from their houses, and saying a donkey has the same rights as a person.

Yeah, some PETA extremists even went as far as to kill scientists doing medical studies on animals, killed them. It's ridiculous. Without animal testing we wouldn't have 90% of the medical knowledge/medicines we have now. Stupid bastards. And they want to end all animal testing. PETA's president is a diabetic, which requires her to have insulin shots. Guess what the development of insulin required?
