I do agree, I found the blending really hard to get on the can. But I wanted it there to obscure her face. When I upload it to my DeviantArt or whatever I'll probably remove the can.

But thanks man. You need to share some of your blending tips with me sometime :)

I definately will sometime soon.

Haha, k, the can's gone. I agree actually. Improves the piece.

yeah it looks way better, did you use an image from DoNotAttempts stock? looks like it, and if so, good deal, she always has great model stock.

Cheers, I might try some tutorials for shading then, I couldn't really see what areas were badly shaded? Any quick tips for my shading?

well firstly, what are you doing to shade? using the burn tool? using the paint brush and painting black and using the smudge tool to smooth it out?

I really suggest making a copy of whatever you want to have a shadow, go to image > adjust > threshold and move the slider all the way to the right, then apply a guassian blur to the copied layer, mess with the opacity, then, if it seems off, move it to a desired position and finally delete/smudge uneeded areas.

edit:// the badly shaded area is mainly the guy jumping over the fence, it doesn't even look shaded, it just looks like a smudge of black is over his arm and head.

Really like it Joe. As Adem said the shading on the guy and the purple balloon is kinda rough. Not that I can really talk cause I'm no pro on shading...Defo your best ;)

Cheers adem, I see what you mean, I'm going to go back to it and try it to improve it. Thanks for the tips.
