When a fucking news article, ESPECIALLY a news article online, is perfectly capable of telling basically the whole goddamn story with a single photograph, but choose to sum in up in 8 paragraphs instead!!!!

A father and Son set a world record for growing a 252.4 pound watermelon, right?

The ONLY thing in the fucking world that could make this worth reading, would be seeing a picture of this massive watermelon, with perhaps the father and son next to it for reference. But no. They send a reporter out there, interview the guys, probably saw and touched the fucking thing, and NOONE thinks to simply take a picture?!

What the fuck could their excuse be?! A digital camera is too expensive? Couldn't throw in for a photographer, (as if you'd even need a genuine photographer), or did they just actually think "man, people don't wanna see that. They just wanna read 8 or 9 paragraphs about it instead!".

I see this stupid fucking shit ALL the time. News that absolutely requires a picture, but is printed with only boring and clichè writing.

How can coperations with so much money and so much professionalism be so goddamn fucking stupid?

Almost as gay as Boner making a fucking 4 paragraph long thread on how stupid it is to have long articles on simple subjects with no picture; when it could simply be summed up in "I hate long articles that explain simple subjects but lack a picture" then maybe a link to said article.

I mean, at least in your example there is a slight excuse not to show it. (blood and gore and political correctness, blah blah), but I can't think of a single goddamn reason they wouldn't show a picture of the watermelon. That's basically the point of the whole article.

It's like "Hey let's write an entire article on the physical size of this fruit, but don't show anyone!!". WHY!? I HAve To Know WHY!!!!>!11.1.1!>?!?!

No I understand what he is saying. There shouldn't be wordy lenghty articles about inane things that could be summed up with a picture of a few sentances. And even if there are lenghty articles there should be a picture in there if it is key to the story.
