First Big Tag

So my dad called me a few days ago and said "I got a project for you. I don't exactly approve of the shit you do, but it might make you a little money now." He said a woman that owned a small clothing store wanted pictures of kids taken in front of a graffiti wall but she didn't know anywhere close that had decent work. So she bought a 12ft x 15ft canvas drop cloth and paid me to do one. I pretty much got to do whatever I want except her logo "Kloset Kraze" had to be like the front of her store, which is awful gay, and she wanted some trendy words like "Goth, punk, skater, rocker" on the wall but I could do those words however I wanted. So I brainstormed for like 2 days and had to come up with enough shit to fill this 12ft x 15ft wall. It's almost finished, just need to put a sun in the top righthand corner and do some touchups and probably some other shit to fill in spots.

Feedback please (Do take into consideration this is only m 5th tag ever)
It has taken about 3 hours so far, setting up, spraying, moving, spraying again and touching up.

Slam me as you wish, but I'd like some positive critiquing.

Not bad man, especially for a piece you didn't want to do and the shit they made you do like that.

I really like your style (if you did your sig that is), the store isn't that bad but I can tell it was forced upon your ass.

How much you get paid?

Yeah I did the sig. The guy in the picture didn't turn out quite how I wanted because I actually slipped on a can of paint and made his head too wide, and the white didn't work well on canvas. The colors like soaked into it. It was hard as shit. I got paid around $250.

Its pretty.

One time I spray painted the word "Nigger" on the side of my friends old landlords house. Its still there I'll take a picture of it!

Oh yeah, I think you did a good job but what do I know about tagging? I'd be more impressed if you did it on a public building that wasnt supposed to be spray painted on.

Most of it was colorplace, yes from wal-mart. I bought about 40 can's of paint, and that's $1 a piece, plus like 5 krylon, which is the pink, light and dark blue, a high gloss black and silver. Those were like $3 a can. I wasn't going to blow a bunch of money on something I'm doing on canvas, not a wall, the paint doesn't exactly work like a dream on cloth like that, and it's nearly impossible to cover something up. It was a bitch. It's going to be on a scrolling advertisement in Krogers around central Ohio though. Pretty fucking sweet.

pretty horrible looking man, should put some big shadows on the words, like drop shadows or 3d. But ok for one of your first things I guess.

I'm guessing everything turns pretty shitty on canvas so good job

I wasn't able to put anything on the Kloset Kraze logo. You think I wanted it to look like that? Come on. I had to do it exactly that way because it's her logo on the front of her store. I said it's going to look dumb bc everything else is graffiti style and thats.....notepad style. I said it's going to look off but she said she wanted it like that. So I didn't argue when she handed me the $300 check.

I was mostly satisfied with everything but the Kloset Kraze logo. It's gay as fuck and takes away from the whole thing. The clouds also didn't turn out quite like I wanted, but you can't correct anything on this material, the only thing that was painted over, were the outlines, in black.

is that just cheap ass spraypoint u used or..?

anyways.. yeah like others said (im not a pro at graff myself) but I dont really like it.. dont like the colours and I like shit like in your sig much better. Or nice letters with thick outlining.. drips etc.. I know canvas sucks.. and you have to stretch it from all sides to be able to spray on it nicely so props for that.. but if you're not done with it yet.. just a few tips

It was folded up. So we had to fucking steam out all the creases, then it started to fold on us while I was spraying. Not to mention the wind would blow it towards and away from me in the middle of spraying, that made it real fun.

lol.. well at least u got a nice ammount of cash for it mate.
