Step Brothers.
26 July 2008, 12:59 UTC#2,496
Step Brothers. It'd be better to watch it on a download with a few friends in your home versus dealing with the hoards of douchey Will Ferrell ball washers.
26 July 2008, 14:18 UTC#2,497
<-- will ferrell ball washer.

Don't get me wrong, I think he can be really funny. He just does the same thing every movie, and it's getting tired and unfunny.
26 July 2008, 18:06 UTC#2,499
He really needs to try something like "Stranger Than Fiction" again.

yeah, I just like the humor he uses in movies like step brothers and old school. I have yet to see semi-pro and I did not like taledaga nights.

old school was awesome. but ferrell was only funny cause he wasnt the main role and his jokes werent the whole movie he was here and there with jokes unlike all his recent movies besides anchorman and stranger than fiction.(which I both liked) but talledaga nights blads of glory semi pro where all the same gay movie and even walk hard with the other guy. horrible plots and horrible jokes. jim carrey needs to make mor emovies cause he his hilarious

Thank you! I didn't like Talladega Nights either. His last good movie where this character worked was Anchorman, and that was mostly because he had a funny and entertaining supporting cast working with him.

dark knight - well goooooddddd
12 August 2008, 11:46 UTC#2,518
Word, 'mazing flick.
Speaking of Christian Bale, saw The Machinist for the first time, really liked it. He's so scarily fucking thin, it's well uncomfortable. Especially considering that he wanted to be 20 pounds thinner still, but the crew just wouldn't let him, haha. Fuck that. He's awesome in the role, easily his best to date.
Also nicely made; I loved the recurring symbols and imagery: like they weren't so subtle that they went unnoticed and at the same time they weren't shoved in your face in an effort to be artsy and pretentious.
The one (little) thing I didn't like was how the twist was set up really early on - like how no one at his work thought that the creepy dude existed. Straight away that set off alarm bells for "yeah, the whole thing is a dream/hallucination" and it would have been better for me if we had been led to believe that it was somewhat real before revealing the truth; but that's just minor really. Thumbsup overall.

The Dark Knight. Thought it was really good, but unfortunate that they left the Joker storyline very open-ended, believing everyone will be going "OOOOO HE'LL BE BACK!!!".

Finally saw Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay. Laughed my ass off.
