It's just one of those films where the writers were probably like "Lets keep it real! YEAHHH" and thought they were being really inventive with the dialogue and acting when really it just came across as plain and boring.

I though Superbad was pretty good, and I got some lolz out of it. But I must say that it is pretty much a typical curse/sexual content filled movie, and I think it was just too predicatable and generic.

I thought superbad was great. Watched it drunk both times so that could have helped, but yeah, good movie.

Yeah but you can't see one without seeing the other. Sure Return of the Jedi is better to some people than A New Hope but it would leave questions like who is this guy who is making out with his sister and why are there three ghosts just chilling about at the end, hanging in the air. Same thing here really.
